Step 1 – Smooth on a Too Faced Shadow Insurance or eye shadow primer
Step 2 – Using a transitional shade from Kat Von D Shade & Light Eye Palette, using the middle color, sugarpill eye shadow in Love with a 863 brush, brush shadow into crease and out towards brow bone, so that darker colors are easier to blend out later.
Step 3 – For the red, use the Sugarpill Burning Heart Palette – Love+ Eyeshadow. Using a beauty basics eyeshadow brush (whatever will work is fine) brush the red shadow all over your eye lid really packing on the color with a packing motion.
Step 4 – Take another Sugarpill eyeshadow, Limited Edition @#$%!. Red with some silver sparkles in it. Could use just Love+ if that is all you have. Place it towards the outer edge. Provides a different tone.
Step 5 – Take MAC eyeshadow, Sketch using a real techniques base eyeshadow brush for the crease. Building up Sketch eyeshadow in outer edge.
Step 6 – Brush on light eyeshadow from Kat Von D Shade & Light Eye palette. Place under brow to help the reds blend better.
Step 7 – Back with the Kat Von D Shade & Light Eye palette. Using the black eyeshadow, start with a little bit…you don’t want to pack on very much at the beginning. Slowly build it on. Note: If having trouble blending the red & black eyeshadows, go back with the red and blend some more on top. Layering sometimes is the best way to blend.
For Gothic EyeLiner
Step 1 – Using the Inglot Gel liner #77 and MAC 209 brush doing a pretty big wing…and take the gel liner on your lower eyelid waterline as well.
Step 2 – Take a little Love+ eyeshadow with a fine crease brush from Essence of Beauty. Apply on the inner portion of the lower lid.
Step 3 – Take the Urban Decay Perversion liner, line the outer lower lid on the outer portion.
Step 4 – Set the liner with black eyeshadow taking it up on the outer portion of the wings for blending.
Step 5 – Use some MAC Sketch eyeshadow alongside the black eyeshadow.
Step 6 – Take a little bit more on a flexible brush of Love+ and blend it on the lower outside of the lower eye lid. Note:
Step 7 – Blend thoroughly the colors on the lower lash line. You may have to go back and forth with the colors and layer and layer like 5 times.
Step 8 – If one eye looks different from the other, just play around till your’re happy with both of them.
Step 9 – Use makeup remover on a q-tip to make a smoother arch under the lids if needed.
